Professional Kitchen Demonstration At High Schools

2018 was a very busy and fun year for us with Kitchen Demonstrations. SUISSEedu had the privilege to organize several Kitchen demonstration classes at high schools in Kuala Lumpur. We had the professional skills of Chef Gerard Jerome teach and illustrate to these passionate students in their Food Technology and Nutrition class.

The students had the chance to see how to debone and cut a large fresh Norwegian Salmon and later did it themselves with local Sea Bass. They learned how to cook the Salmon in 3 ways: poached, pan-seared and sous vide.

Another day was more focused on desserts with a day filled with chocolate. The students had fun kitchen sessions making macaroons and fudge brownies.

Original Viennese Apfel (Apple) Strudel Making

We had the pleasure in assisting the chef in his Apfelstrudel making in Austria at the famous Schonbrunn Palace. Apple Strudel or in German, Apfelstudel is a typical and beloved Austrian dessert. Ms. Pauline got a hands-on experience at one of Austrians best known desserts. Best served with icing sugar and Viennese coffee. For additional pleasure, add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
